Manchester United players and staff have arrived at Manchester Airport ahead of jetting off to China for their pre-season tour.

Jose Mourinho checked in for the flight, as did David De Gea and skipper Wayne Rooney as the Red Devils step up their preparations for the new season.

United face off against German giants Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on Friday before travelling to Beijing to take on Pep Guardiola and Manchester City.

Ibrahimovic is still on holiday in California and will continue to rest following his involvement at Euro 2016.

While the tour takes place, Ibrahimovic will undergo an intense pre-season schedule of his own at the club's Carrington training base.

He is expected to return from holiday in the coming days.

United stars quickly changed out of there club suits and into more comfortable attire for the long flight to the Far East.

New manager Jose Mourinho began his United tenure with a win over Wigan at the weekend with youngsters Will Keane and Andreas Pereira grabbing the goals.

But the Red Devils' offseason programme starts in earnest this weekend with Mourinho and his men jetting out to the Far East to begin their participation in the International Champions Cup.

Rooney leads the touring party where he is joined by new signings Mkhitaryan and Bailly.

Youngster James Wilson, who started the game at the DW Stadium on the Saturday, is not included.
